About us
Göng&brú is an independent operating, financing and holding company owned by the Icelandic state. The company's role is to prepare, design, finance and deliver major transport infrastructure projects that support safe, efficient and modern transport in Iceland.
It is responsible for collecting road tolls and service fees within the road network and bases its operations on sustainable financing, raising funds in the general market without state guarantees on loans or general operating subsidies.
With specialised expertise in the preparation, financing and delivery of transport projects, Göng&brú works to create a strong foundation for the development of important infrastructure for the future.
